How do I upload my files to the server?

Uploading through FTP:
To upload files to your server through FTP you will need an FTP software.  If you have Windows then you may already have a FTP software on your computer called WS FTP.  If you don't have a FTP software already installed on your computer you will need to download one.  I recommend FlashFXP which can be downloaded and used for free for 30 days.  Here are the basic steps to uploading files through FTP.

1.)  Connecting through FTP
To connect through FTP you will need to type in your domain (ftp.youdomain.com), your hosting username, and your hosting password.

2.)  Locate your files and directories
The basic layout of a FTP program is your hard drive files on the left side of the screen and your server files on the right hand side of the screen.  You will want to find the file you want to upload from your hard drive on the left side of the screen and then find the directory that you want to transfer the file to on the right hand side of the screen.

3.)  Transferring a file
Right click on the file you want to transfer and then click "transfer".  The file should then be uploaded to your server.

Uploading through web console:
A web console is the control panel that you web hosting provider provides to its clients that allows them to manage their domains.  It is possible to upload files to your website through this control panel.  To do this follow these steps:

1.)  Login to your web console
2.)  Click the link that says "File Manager"
3.)  Choose the directory that you want to upload your files to
4.)  Click "Upload"
5.)  Click "Browse" and locate the files you want to upload on your hard drive
6.)  Click "Submit"
